I love the creative process. It’s been on my heart for a while to make jewelry, but I never considered it was possible without having had extensive training in the field. It was when I found a tutorial on beadshop.com that I thought I’d give it a go - even then, my intention was to try making some bracelets for gifts. It was not my original intention to sell. Once I started making the bracelets, I discovered I enjoyed thinking about the designs, what I could do and then the actual process of making them. One thing led to another and a decision to try my hand at marketing my creations came about.

I’m still starting out and finding my way, but I desire to make a quality product that is not only well made, but lovely to look at, comfortable to wear and a blessing to the wearer, something they derive a lot of pleasure from.

Self-belief. Even though I may not have had the boldness initially, I keep challenging myself to believe and to keep going, that this is leading to something greater.

I can’t say I’ve had an actual "a-ha" moment, but I think I’d have to go back to the perseverance and determination to keep moving forward, to answer that question.

If I’m worth the time and attention it takes to pursue my dreams, so is everyone else. Anyone who wants to try something new - if it’s in your heart, you can do it. Surround yourself with people that believe in you and put yourself out there. You may be surprised at what comes your way.
